Samuel L. Jackson* is back in a new big-budget sci-fi epic from Director Doug Liman. In the film, Jackson plays the baddie attempting stop a band of time-hopping teleporting, teen crime fighters.
Tom Sturridge Hayden Christensen co-stars along with Teresa Palmer Rachel Bilson, Jamie Bell and many other actors whose parts may be recast during one of the Director’s infamous re-shoots.

Scoop!!
Dammit, it’s a crappy scoop…but it’s our scoop!
Read about this movie in the NY Times. Seems they got to film a scene at the Colosseum, which was somehow unique.
Plot reminds me of an element from Alfred Bester’s “The Stars My Destination” (aka Tiger! Tiger!). Liman has made some cool films, despite his reputation as a nut (and Mr & Mrs Smith wasn’t that atrocious).
Anyway, I’ll watch anything with Jackson, so I’m there.
“I would have gotten away with it if it hadn’t been for those Mother F*ing meddling time-traveling kids!”
I edited the pic, Les. Exclusive like that deserves maximum exposure. Hope you don’t feel violated.
We need a big flashy graphic reading “Must credit GONE ELSEWHERE!” to slap on it…
Done. Sorta. Figure the address works just fine. Hate when they slap the name in the middle of the pic.
Haha, now THAT’s an exclusive.
Also breaking: I was talking to my neighbor (who just did a movie with Scarlett Johansson) he reports that she is “pretty” and “nice” in person. Must credit Gone Elsewhere.
See the Elsewhere Stat going from 1600 views to 2100 views in less than an hour?

Fun. Thank you, Garth Franklin.
That plot description is not even close to the actual plot of Jumper. I know that changes have been made from the plot of the original novel, but I’m fairly certain they didn’t change the main plot point from being a kid who finds he can teleport to “time-hopping teen crimefighters.”
That’s my error. He does indeed TELEPORT to fight crime, not time travel.
I didn’t mean to lump mass-market children’s adventure books about teleportation in with mass-market children’s adventure books about time travel. Time travel is so ghetto.

May i remind everyone of Wesley Snipes in ‘Demolition Man’
;p
New trailer is out. This film is going to be pretty big.
This film now really, really reminds me of that specific story element from The Stars My Destination. The boy falling getting trapped under the ice is eerily similar. The author of the novel this film is based on can’t not have been “inspired” in some form.
Two very nicely cut trailers. I’ve heard good things (effects, visuals, action) and really bad (cough cough…acting) from someone in the know, I’ll keep a question mark next to it for now.
