Some pretty bad storms in the area tonight – tornadoes, baseball-sized hail, etc. I took this picture after the worst of it had passed. It looked a lot cooler in person than it does here, but the cell phone camera’s not the best. You can sorta make out a brighter area on the right that was presumably a large amount of hail falling. Also took this one:
This one looked even better in person, especially the eerie bright cloud in the middle.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters (trailer): Looks tedious. I’ve never bothered watching the show, because although I’ve seen endless promos for it during the “Futurama” reruns that I watch from time to time (for the nostalgic feelings from when I used to watch TV), I’ve never seen anything amusing enough to make me think it’s any good.

Redline (trailer): So someone correct me if I have this wrong. But it seems that some producer guy made a movie simply to show off his car collection? Do I have that right?
Perfect Stranger (trailer): Hard to say at this early juncture, but this could be one of the dumbest movies ever made. Combine the hamminess that would naturally result from a Berry-Willis pairing, throw in ridiculous plot twists one after another, and then tie it all together with what looks like a lot of typing. If I were into bad movies, this would be like Christmas.
In the 1970′s, it was essentially mandatory for any celebrity under fifty to put out an album. If I’m not mistaken, it may have been a SAG rule at the time.
I get Empire Magazine’s weekly e-newsletter every Friday (most of the dumb games I recommend here I get from there), and this week they included what must be the coolest internet ad ever made. Be forewarned though, I’m guessing you have to have a good screen and broadband to get it, and it takes at least four minutes of your time. But it’s definitely worth it.
