As if the last bit of casting news wasn’t good enough, here comes two more wonderful nuggets on what is happening in the Marvel Films Universe.
Both stories come from the sci-fi website io9.
Firstly is this delicious little morsel about Marvel convening a panel to find ways to boost their overseas revenue from 35% to 50%.
The only thing to say about this somewhat ridiculous decision is what commenter Sega8800 said in the comments about breaking through in Asia, and that’s: “…Comics in Asia(sic)? Not gonna happen unless they make all the Manga dispear(sic) over there.”
I don’t know about the rest of Asia, but I’m sure Japan is a large market and I’m sure Manga isn’t gonna disappear so the Japanese have more interest in Marvel characters. Really…who’s running the show over there?
And then, there is nothing more to say, except that, if this little post about a screening of Wolverine is true…then good night, Marvel…I don’t think there’s many more nails to put in the coffin.
