I don’t think hedging your guess is cheating at all. I am in the same boat wondering if Prometheus or Madagascar will win the weekend.
For what it’s worth, I see no reason why you can’t hedge. I’ve done it before.
They should just rehire Vincent Ward and let him film his Aliens sequel from 20 years ago.
No new Alien project (if any sci-fi film) could live up to the world he created on paper.

I’m not sorry for my 1st bonus question. At the time of my guess it looked really close. I would have hated to not get any points at all. Then again, I missed out on a perfect score this week and probably won’t get another chance.

Jackrabbit Slim does get a 2-point bonus for being within a half-million, though, a rare invocation of the bonus rule for a film that doesn’t finish #1.
