Not I. Kinda funny thinking about him doing it. Would it have been a joke, a way to part while still retaining some humor? Or was he serious, thinking “This’ll show them!”
Wasn’t me, it’s been there since the day he deleted all of his posts. I know this because I was going to add him to the list but someone beat me to the punch.
He said something like “Maybe I’ll visit after the weekend, if you guys still want me back” and I said he’s always welcome (or something like that). We left the chat on good terms, but I guess his weekend visit turned into an Andersen Consulting confetti party.
btw, did I miss something with regards to Jaydro? Not posting at a site anymore I can understand, but deleting all his posts? And, judging by looking over some of my old posts, deleted all his comments?
I know there’s been spirited debates here but nothing even close that would lead somebody to take such drastic action.
You missed Flickrgate then (you can try and make sense of it here, it starts off at #137 with my asking why a post is gone). Short version: jaydro was angry at jackrabbit for posting pictures from Flickr without permission. Words were had, jaydro left in a huff. Him and Joe Webb talked shortly after, and it looked like he was coming back after the weekend. Come monday all his posts and comments were gone. I don’t know how much it was my responsibility in this case, since I began asking questions, but I’m thinking jaydro just needed some space. Maybe he’ll come back someday, who knows.
To be honest, I don’t really want him back after his actions. By any standards to delete all his posts and comments is a petty and destructive thing to do to this site.
The deletion of comments is actually more disappointing for me then the posts deletion. With posts, they’re his work and I suppose if he doesn’t want him displayed here, that’s his call.
But to delete comments on other people’s posts is uncalled for as it’s stuffs up many interesting debates in the comments section that have resulted from posts I and others on here did.
Did jaydro put himself in here, or is someone else taking the credit? Either way, I laughed.

Man, that is mean. But kinda funny.
It wasn’t me.
Twasn’t me, either.

Must have been him, then. I doubt Wagstaff would weigh in on this.
It’s kind of funny. Still not sure why he felt the need to leave, after telling Joe he’d be back.

Ha, oh well. I still wish he’d return, but deleting his posts was a little unnecessary.
Wasn’t me.

Very disappointing.
Hey, I just realized that jaydro’s name links to 3 of his comments still in existence on this site. How did that happen?
That is a mystery. Does that mean the deleted comments may still exist?
I just presume he left those few comments there so that everyone would know what was the issue that saw him leave this site.
