  1. Now all I can picture is Rob with a spiral notebook and an abacus with 4 pages of notes for each weekly release, and the pages look like the blackboard on A Serious Man.
This is a lot of prognosticating on one post.

  2. 1. 44m
    2. 21m
    3. Exactly 85%. You mean Monday November 18th, right?

    Long Range tankers
    1. 4m
    2. 350m
    3. No idea…The Hunger Games? Saving Mr. Banks? ugh…go with the second one
    4. Above
    5. Frozen. Or maybe the Hobbit? Nah, Frozen.
    6. and my wandering eye picks….Mandela!

  3. Rob’s got Best Man Holiday locked up already, it’s going to soar into the mid 30’s. Juan and I should be battling over the points for Thor.

  4. 1. Waiting for the Thor actuals, but unless there’s a significant revision: Slim should be a lock for 4 points and Juan for 2.
    2. The Best Man Holiday opened well over 30M, so Rob is the closest at 29.4M.
    3. Nebraska is at 90% on Rotten Tomatoes as of today: ABOVE is the correct answer. Rob and I get a half point each.

BTW, to clarify on the long range bonus deadline: you have until the normal cut-off (Friday at 7:00 am EST) to post your answers.

  5. Fairly big change with the Thor actuals $36,586,016 (vs. the estimate of $38,454,000). Juan scores 4 points and I get two.

  6. Scores:
    Juan – 4 (Q1) = 7.5
    Rob – 1 (Q2) + .5 (Q3) = 6.5
    James – 2 (Q1) + .5 (Q3) = 3.5
    Jackrabbit Slim – .5 (Q2) = 1.5
    Joe – 0 = 1
    Filmman – 0 = .5
