HAGEBOC 2014 – Week Five!

Standard

So, the semi slump of December 2014 continued over the weekend as audiences failed to turn out in the numbers necessary for Ridley Scott’s biblical epic, Exodus: Gods and Kings, to make any money domestically. This weekend the picture faces stiff competition from Hobbits, a third Night at the Museum picture and Annie. So yeah, it’s pretty much over for the film.

Scores:
Marco – 11.5
Jackrabbit Slim – 7.5
Joe Webb – 7
James – 6.5
Rob – 3
Juan – 1.5

  1. Does tagging me magically bring me back? I was totally lame for not guessing last week. Thanks for holding my spot!

    Hobbit: $85m
    Bonus #1 – Night: $38m
Bonus #3 (what?) – Annie: OVER

  2. No need to wait for actuals. Night at the Museum and Annie performed badly. The Hobbit is the second lowest opener of the six Tolkien epics and earned 17m less than it’s predecessor. It’s safe to say there’s finally Middle Earth fatigue setting in.

    Hobbit: Juan +4, Slim + 2
    Bonus 1: Slim + 4, Juan +2
    Bonus 2: Marco +.5, James +.5, Slim +.5, Rob +.5, Juan +.5
