  1. Note: I edited the post time on this so Joe’s Star Wars theory would appear first on the main page. Don’t miss this final week, folks!

  2. This is not official – but projected points as of right now. A tie?

Star Wars: Joe +4, James +2
    Bonus 1: Revenant – James +4, Marco +2
Bonus 2: The Forest – (No points awarded yet)
    Bonus 3: Alvin – James +1, Marco +1

    Joe Webb – 27
    James – 27
    Jackrabbit Slim – 25.5
    Marco – 20
    Juan – 11.5
    Nick – 5
    Rob – 5

  3. There will be a one point tie breaker round this week to determine the winner. I’ve asked the person with the lowest score (Nick) to come up with the question.

  4. Tiebreaker!

Which one of these four films will have the highest per screen average this coming weekend?

    1. The Benefactor

    2. The Lady in the Van

    3. A Perfect Day

    4. Detective Chinatown

  5. I’m pleased to say I haven’t heard of any of them. Gotta love these January dumps.

The studio with the Richard Gere movie seemingly uploaded the trailer from a VHS source. Got to be one of the worst officially released encodes I’ve seen in years.

  6. IFC has yet to report weekend data for A Perfect Day…which makes me think we’re not going to get it (and if we do – the weekend figure might be lumped in with whatever it makes this week).

I think we should just take a single major release this weekend and say whoever gets closest to guessing the weekend total wins the contest.
