  1. On that note, if no one writes “Ben-Hur, Done That” in their review then journalism is a lost art

    1. $15m
    2. $14m
    3. $13m

  2. I feel bad for Jack Huston. He’s a talented actor but seems badly miscast in this.

He’ll basically be “one and done” in terms of leading roles in studio films.

  3. 1. Ben Hur – $10 million
    2. War Dogs – $13 million
    3. Kubo and the Two Strings – $12 million

  4. Ben Hur looking to be an even bigger flop than expected – Burnett/Downey producing team’s background is in TV (and Downey was also a popular TV star on ‘Touched By An Angel’) and it seemed this should’ve been more viable as a TV event. Suspect they got a bit big for their boots in thinking they could pull this off to such a scale.

  5. War Dogs $14,685,305 James +4, Joe +2
Kubo and the Two Strings $12,608,372 Joe +4, Juan +2
    Ben-Hur (2016) $11,203,815 Rob +6, Juan +2
